Today my people decided to take me to an agility dog park, which seems like a very fine idea for a Saturday morning. The car ride alone exhausted me, and they were PISSED because it was not very easy to find. This was supposed to be fun, but I just had to sleep in my carseat to make into the little town of Franklin, Tennessee.
It was located next to the dog pound, and was very noisy. Barking was the only sound I heard, and it was NOT happy barking. Nope, it was sad. It was also hot for a September day. The so-called agility equipment was suspect and creaky. The see-saw was so rickety I would not even put my paw on it.
There was a mean-looking insecure mutt who had his hair raised on his back, and I swear he almost killed me. I don't have anything against mutts, as I am a mix myself, but a mutt does not have manners. Mama picked me up and I just wished she was taller. We probably stayed a total of 15 minutes, which is very short compared to our 45 minute travel time. They vowed to never take me back. I fare much better just playing on the Parthenon steps in my hometown, Nashville.
This is my first post, so forgive me if it not long. I need to nap. I will tell you more about my life later.
